I Swirly Twisted at the Park

Today was a great day. First we went to the park. At the park we played and then we found this weird thing. It was a first floor and a second floor. Then I ate an apple. It was juicy and yummy.

Then we went to the puppet show. And we saw Sleeping Beauty. It was a different type of Sleeping Beauty, her name wasn't Aurora, it was Briar Rose. It was funny when the frog said "happily bibbily ribbit" instead of "happily ever after". I sat by Frank at the puppet show. He laughed when the storyteller turned into a frog. Briar Rose was really, really, really pretty. She was wearing a pink dress like she is supposed to. This part made everybody laugh, the man who was doing the puppet show said, "what do spinning wheels do?" and the boy who sat by Quinn said, "spinning wheels kill you" and everyone was laughing so hard one person had to leave the room.

Oh yeah, then we went to Toy Story 3-the new Toy Story. Frank drunk lots of the soda, so did mom. Me and Quinn only had 2 times of drinking it. I liked it a lot.

Day Four of the Swirly Twist of D.C.

Today was a great day like always. Today we went to the metro and we stopped at a different stop. Then we went to a tour of the Capitol building. At the Capitol building there was this tour guide and my mom knew more about history than she did. She said the fresco has Abraham Lincoln on it. Just kidding! George Washington was on it. That was just a joke. Oh yeah, the Capitol building you'll see a picture of that.

Oh yeah, last night we caught lots and lots of lightning bugs. We went to The Lincoln Memorial last night. It was really crowded and cool. Even the fountains lighted up at the WWII Memorial (see picture).

In the picture of me and Frankie we are sitting down in Senator Feingold's office.

Swirly Twister Really Twists

Today was a really good day! We went back to the history museum for the last time. Today we saw the Lincoln exhibit. We saw Honest Abe's real hat! We saw his pocket watch, you can see that in the top picture.

One time we got a drink. I got orange juice.

Then we got to see The White House really close up. You can see that in one of the pictures.

We saw The Lincoln Memorial. You'll see me with my brothers in front of the Washington Monument.

Then the next place we went I loved! It was really, really pretty. There was lots of water things that went up. You'll see that in one of the pictures. It is called The World War II Memorial. My great grandma helped it get made. She lended money there. If great grandma was alive right now she would be really impressed.

This is all for today.

The Swirly Twist D.C. Second

Today we went to the history museum again. We finally saw the ruby slippers, Dorothy's ruby slippers. And then we looked at the First Ladies' dresses again, and we took a picture of Obama's wife's dress.

Then we went to this gallery that showed the childrens' toys back in the old days. There was "chest" [chess] and a dollhouse.

We got to go to a lot of fountains that were really cool. One sprayed me a lot. That was a really high one that went up. You'll see that one in one of the pictures. Then we just like took a walk around.

We went to the American Indian Museum. We had a snack.

This is the end. That's all for today.

The Swirly First Day

I had a great day. We went 2 museums. They were really interesting. The first museum we went to my favorite thing was the bug part. I saw this weird bee hive, there was like a fake tree and a tunnel and it went outside. And we got to see the Queen Bee, she had her own little room, she was the top bee.

The second museum we went to was a lot about history. My favorite part at the second museum was seeing First Ladies' dresses. I saw Obama's wife's dress. It was really, really pretty.

Then we went to this place to have a snack. I got like a dilly bar. It was really yummy and I got a soda, but that was just lucky. My brother, Frank, had a soda. My brother Quinn had an oreo ice cream sandwich.

When we went to places there was lots of escalators. And I always love going up "excalators" and down" excalators".

The End.
